Ryuji Iwasaki solo exhibition in Taiwan

Ryuji Iwasaki, who made a deep impression on Taiwanese visitors at his first exhibition “Utsuwa Shoken Direction” at a small gallery in 2019, is now holding his first solo exhibition in Taiwan. Please come and see the many works created for the people of Taiwan, and actually hold them in your hands. “What a rich life it would be if we could spend every day with tableware we like. I myself use tableware made by various artists, and every time I touch them, I remember various memories and discover new things. The power of things we feel by using them. I always hope that my tableware will also be such an existence in the hands of users. It is a great pleasure for me that people in Taiwan can use my tableware. I hope you enjoy using it.” – Ryuji Iwasaki

Ryuji Iwasaki has honed his skills in the world of traditional crafts, won numerous awards, and started his career as a tableware artist because he wants people to use his tableware more often. With graceful lines, beautiful colors, and textures that no one has ever touched before, we introduce the world of tableware artist Ryuji Iwasaki, whose rich depth is further enhanced by the plump evolution of gradation. Just like music, movies, and art, there are no borders to beautiful things. We hope you enjoy meeting and lovingly interacting with the beautiful works that are durable, easy to use, and enrich your daily life, such as plates, bowls, and flower vases that you can always keep by your side.” – Tomoo Shoken (Utsuwa Shoken Kamakura)
