AOKI Ryo
Mr. Ryo Aoki, a potter, worked on various expressions of pottery, such as powdering, brushing, baking, white glaze, and iron glaze. During his lifetime, the artist wanted to hold an exhibition of works that were not intended for sale, leaving some of his favorite works at hand. "Aoki Ryo" was published in March 2020, 15 years after his death, when the "Aoki Ryo" exhibition was held at the Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum Gallery in Seto, where he studied ceramics. .. For three years, with the cooperation of his wife, Shoko Aoki, the works left in the studio were photographed, and a collection of works designed by Kaoru Kasai was completed. The published works will be exhibited at the "Aoki Ryo" exhibition at the Aichi Prefectural Ceramic Museum Gallery in March.
